Wasn't going to post today wasn't feeling very inspired. So what a day to pick to try and write a little poem. Once upon a time I used to write poetry every day, but back then I was young and brooding. (Laugh out Loud)
Friday
Let us let every day be Friday, full of promise and possibilities.
Bringing home that weekend magic, open to its opportunities.
Trying to make every day, as if there were great things to come.
Savoring every moment, for those times when there might be none.
Nicely done! I'm glad you are deciding to write poetry again. I recently read some of your poems from a few years ago and you really have a talent for it. Keep it up!
