Its a brand new day

Well its post thanks giving, I guess we are all supposed to be in the holiday spirit. Just remember is the season of giving, hopefully also to those in need.
Personally I am going to donate some food, and such since charitable contributions are way down this year we all need to chip in. I think I will also clean out my closet and donate a large amount of clothing. That is probably just my way to give my self an excuse to go shopping. That's OK you shopaholics, i guess the economy needs stimulating also.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey all its been a couple day and I have been very uninspired. I guess that just happens sometimes or lifes little stresses can get to you. I wanted to wish everyone though a very Happy Thanksgiving. I think we all should be giving thanks for what ever we have.
I will be giving thanks for all my loved ones, friends and family alike. I am trying to follow my own advice about trying to stay positive and apply that to all aspects of my life.

Soon it will be time to give thanks, as the holiday rapidly approaches. Try to find something to be thankful for everyday.

I think this year I'll join one of my friends at a soup kitchen, just to remind myself sometimes you can be grateful just for a warm meal.

Women inspire men

Its not very inspiring but I had a though, Women seem to inspire men to greatness. We all know that saying behind every great man is a great woman. I guess I just find it intriguing how they motivate us to want to do more. You know be more successful, be a better person, be more artistic, write a blog (laugh out loud).
In the same token I think women are inspired by men, you know the wrong kind of inspiration.  You know man I got to get a job, or I have to make more money, because I need to get the heck away from this lunatic!
Maybe i can start a new trend and with it a new saying, "Behind every great woman is a proud man!"
Somehow I don't see it catching on, I hope it does tough.

Lacking inspiration

Today seriously lacking inspiration, I think sometimes the grind just gets you down. I think today I am going to focus on being grateful. I hope you can find your things you can be grateful for. Friends, family, a great love, something that makes your life richer.

Being great

I realize at work we are not judged by how great we are doing on an every day basis, we are measured by those moments of adversity. That will also be a sign of your greatness in life. How you challenge yourself and how you handle those adversities.

New week new beginning

Looking forward to a new week of new possibilities. Why does it always seem in life when one aspect is going well, then it doesn't in another.

Take the time now to appreciate what ever it is you have, take nothing for granted.

It's like rainy days, no one likes them but they make the flowers grow. To all my friends on the east coast enjoy the sunshine.

Wasn't going to post today wasn't feeling very inspired. So what a day to pick to try and write a little poem. Once upon a time I used to write poetry every day, but back then I was young and brooding. (Laugh out Loud)
   Friday
     Let us let every day be Friday, full of promise and possibilities.
     Bringing home that weekend magic, open to its opportunities.
     Trying to make every day, as if there were great things to come.
     Savoring every moment, for those times when there might be none.

Day Two

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I appreciate the comments.
I was thinking this morning when I arose to a nice ray of sunshine, "Ah today should be a beautiful day". So it got me thinking what I would post today. So I am hoping to be a clear day of sunshine myself today. Lets all make today a beautiful day.
We all have our hardships, past, present and future. I think as we all realize though even if for some of us its just in the back of our minds, everything is relative. Maybe dealing with those job problems pale in comparison to those hard times we had earlier on in life. Or maybe the trials we are facing isn't as hard as the lives of starving children all over the world. Either way it makes it no better or worse cause that's what you have to deal with at the moment. Each trial in life is a growing experience.
I was just thinking when am I at my best? I would have to think its when I am positive and driven. I feel as though if I just try to keep a more Positive Mental Attitude about things, I can bring my best to the table. Which is me happy and full of positive energy. I am sure its the same for all my great friends out there.

Day One

Any one else hate Wednesday? I thin the only reason people like Wednesday is if they are corporate flunkies like my self and sell them selves that the week is half over. Look at it this way, any day is a great day. Just as life is what you make it. Step outside for a minute today and take a deep breath, and revel in how amazing life is.
Setting a simple goal for today, to call everyone and tell them how much I love them. To all my friends that check out my blog love you guys too.

Pilot Blog

Not quite sure what shape the Blog will take but I invite all input. Over one of those deep dinner table conversations a friend of mine urged me to follow up on and idea I had to start an inspirational blog. The thought was to spread the idea of social community. Where the thoughts would center around being a little more open to helping the ones around us, and the people we come across.
I guess it is just my own little effort to take what ever knowledge I have attained, or what ever skill sets I have, to try and become a bit more involved human being, and engaged in life. Trying to help people even it if is in little ways on a daily basis. Even if its supporting someone or giving them an attentive ear.
Even is this is just viewed and received by my friends I hope its received well, and is at the very least thought provoking. Making us think of how we are all part of the social fabric and how we can all help each other out.
